We share the building as a working environment, creative space and storage facility, so we ask that everyone takes responsibility for looking after it day to day. Small actions make a big difference to how smoothly everything runs and how pleasant the space is to work in.

Everyone is expected to clean up after themselves, whether that’s food, drinks, packaging, clothing, work materials or general clutter. Shared spaces should be left in a condition that allows someone else to use them without inconvenience.

At the end of the working day, please ensure lights, equipment and electrical appliances are turned off if you are the last to use them. This helps keep the building safe and reduces unnecessary energy use. If you’re unsure about shutting down specific equipment, ask a manager for guidance.

The on-site gym is available for staff to use. Please treat it as a shared space and leave it clean and tidy after use. Equipment should be wiped down, weights returned and the area made ready for the next person.

Music should be played at a level that doesn’t leak into other areas of the business or disrupt people who are concentrating or working with visitors. If in doubt, keep it to a reasonable volume or ask the people around you.

Parking is not permitted in the direct car park outside Drop Dead. Staff must use on-street parking.

If there is a need to bring a pet into the building, this must be agreed with your manager beforehand. Pets should not be assumed acceptable without consent, as they may not be suitable for all working environments or situations.

Looking after the building is a shared responsibility and part of keeping the workplace enjoyable, safe and efficient for everyone.
